Job Description

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking an Egg Sales Assistant to join our team in Fort Recovery.

The primary goal of this position is to work with the Egg Sales Manager and Sales team regarding sales related duties and assure that all necessary administrative assignments are completed in a timely manner.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

HOURLY RATE: From $19.00

PERKS:Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job Functions:

  • Track daily inventory levels for all facilities
  • Work closely with plants regarding correct paperwork for shipments and status of orders
  • Input all orders into our systems
  • Review all pricing of invoices before they are to be billed and correct any discrepancies
  • Keep customers and AR updated on pricing structures and adjustments
  • Assist AR with Credit Memos
  • Track CHEP pallet and RPC inventories
  • Maintain all current and future flock projections
  • Print and track daily egg, corn and bean meal markets for LEP Eggs
  • Review carton and freight pricing on all invoices
  • Provide sales reports as determined by the Egg Sales Manager
  • Track all orders and status of commitments from customers
  • Communicate with customers and logistics regarding order status changes as needed
Requirements
  • Associate’s degree in sales or related business field, or a minimum 3 years of experience in a sales or customer service related position
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong math skills
  • Computer experience with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams, and Outlook
