Job Description

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 3rd shift Feed Truck Driver to join our team in Paulding.

$$ 3,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$

(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $500 a month for 6 months. Rehires qualify a year after termination.)

SHIFT HOURS: Sunday through Thursday 7:00pm-4:30am

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $24.30 with a potential of increasing to $24.80 after 90 days

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

  • Delivering all feed as scheduled
  • Properly disinfecting trucks and using proper biosecurity attire.
  • Completing a daily inspection of tractor/trailer and maintain cleanliness.
  • Completing driver logs and inspection/maintenance reports.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age and have a Class A CDL
  • Must have 2 years' driving experience, along with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50-pound bags of ingredients
  • Ability to tolerate adverse weather conditions and dusty conditions
  • Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time and climb feed bin ladders
