Job Description

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. We have divisions in Mercer, Van Wert and Paulding Counties in Ohio and are looking for a Production Planning Intern to join our team for the Spring/Summer of 2026.

LOCATION: Want Wert, OH

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday

STARTING RATE: From $17.50

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job Functions:

  • Explore our materials usage
  • Focus on projections & promos as it relates to our customers
  • Gives candidates a well rounded business experience - exposure to many different aspects
  • Present findings/solutions to our leadership team at the end of the summer
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's from an accredited college/university.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
  • Proficiency at math with strong computer skills and Microsoft Office
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work cooperatively with others
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with a general understanding of data analysis techniques will be beneficial
