Job Description

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Day Crew Supervisor to join our team in Fort Recovery.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:00am-3:00pm
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this position. Job functions include:
- Being responsible for directing daily aspects of the delivery and moving of poults & piglets
- Overseeing the daily poult delivery, shavings delivery, and barn spray functions
- Providing daily direction to team members and the details of moving animals
- Communicating any issues effectively to Moving Crew Manager
- Following all animal handling and bio security practices as well as ensuring all relatable SOPs are being abided by
- Must have a valid driver's license
- An associates degree in an agriculture-related filed or at least 5 years experience with Cooper Farms or similar operation in various fields including production, logistics, etc.
- Must excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong leadership and math skills
- A valid CDL is preferred but not required
