Job Description

Our St. Henry Harvesting plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift (Evisceration) Machine Specialist to join our team in St. Henry.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 3:00am-11:30am and every other Saturday 6:00am-10:00am
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $20.00 with a potential increase after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided. Job functions include:
- Setting up machines every day prior to production start time and ensuring the machines are functioning at full capacity.
- Being knowledgeable of how to maintain, clean and disassemble each machine.
- Contacting supervisor concerning parts that are needed for machines.
- Willingness to cross train with other machine specialists.
- Providing own tools unless approved by supervisor.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have excellent mechanical abilities, technical knowledge of production machinery, and some basic mathematics skills.
- Requires sound decision-making, problem-solving ability, and fine motor skills.
