Job Description

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Lead to join our team in Coldwater.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:00am-4:30pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE:$19.40-$22.95 with a potential increase after 90 days.
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this position. Job functions include:
- Working directly with the Egg Warehouse and Transportation Manager to oversee all warehouse functions including inventories, materials, transfers, delivers and other activities.
- Leading daily activities and the team members of shipping, pull back and dry storage functions. Help assist the warehouse team members with the stacking process.
- Learning and utilizing the Cat2 inventory tracking system to assure inventory levels are correct.
- Assisting in coordinating paperwork for egg sales and transportation logistics.
- High School diploma and basic computer still are strongly preferred.
- Must be able to lead a team and have excellent organizational, written and verball communication stills.
- Two years warehouse experience or egg industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Forklift and pallet jack experience is preferred
