Job Description

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Breeder Farm Catcher to join our team in Oakwood.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 4:48am - 1:30pm, with 12 mandatory weekends per year
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $18.40 with the potential of increasing to $19.40 after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
- Proper set up and tear down of A.I. equipment
- Assist A.I. Technician
- Count
- Pen
- Properly Move and Secure Hens
- Clean nests and approaches
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to repeatedly lift 60+ pounds
