Our Van Wert Cooked Meats Plant in Van Wert County, Ohio creates, cooks, and slices some of the highest quality deli products on the market for brands you know and trust. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 3rd shift Sanitation Associate to join our team in Van Wert.

SHIFT HOURS: Sunday through Friday 11:00pm-6:30am

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $19.10 with the potential of increasing to $19.75 after 90 days

PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided. Job functions include, but not limited to:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing all production equipment, machinery, conveyors, and floors
  • Being responsible for labeling, mixing, handling and proper usage of cleaning chemicals.
  • Emptying all trash containers.
  • Wearing all required PPE and rotate with other team members as directed.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds.
