Job Description

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Egg Gatherer to join our team in Oakwood.
SHIFT HOURS: Typically a 6-day work schedule, approximately 11:30am-8:00pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $18.30 with the potential of increasing to $18.55 after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
- Gathering all eggs as directed and maintain barns
- Caring for birds per veterinary and manager guidance and maintain records
- General farm chores, including but not limited to: laundry, taking out trash, checking/cleaning waters and feeders, etc.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
