Job Description

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Tom Catcher to join our team in Paulding.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 4:30am-12:30pm with partial weekend shifts.

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $18.00 with the potential of increasing to $19.00 after 90 days

PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training for this position will be provided. Job functions include:

  • Interacting with Tom birds ranging in weight from 20-80 pounds
  • Properly moving and securing Toms
  • General chores, maintenance, and animal care
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to consistently bend and lift up to 80 pounds off the ground
