Job Description

We are currently seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team in Fort Recovery.

The primary goal of this position is the timely and accurate completion of accounts payable functions and all related accounting reports.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE: From $17.00/hr

PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job Functions:

  • Compile all transactions from purchase orders, invoices, capital expenditure reports and any other applicable documents. Review the documents for accuracy and assign the appropriate account numbers.
  • Maintain additional required reports for areas such as feed mill trucking and ingredients
  • Maintain separate prepaid spreadsheet and verify accuracy monthly with vendors
  • Compile and distribute weekly and monthly bean meal usage and profit/loss report
  • Backup other functions as needed
  • Maintain purchase order system and any related records
Requirements
  • Associate degree in accounting or two-years of project related accounting experience is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent math skills
  • trong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to keep detailed records is vital to this position
