Job Description

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Housekeeper to join our team in Fort Recovery.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 10:00am-6:00pm

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $14.65 with a potential increase after 90 days.

PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided. Job functions include:

  • Washing and drying all laundry in a timely manner.
  • Sorting and distributing laundry for each crew.
  • Sweeping, mopping and removing trash.
  • Cleaning restrooms and shower areas which includes ensuring soap dispensers, shampoo dispenser, paper towels and toilet paper is stocked.
  • Dusting, washing windows and walls and any other necessary cleaning as time permits.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking.
