Job Description
Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Turkey Mover to join our team in Fort Recovery.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 5:00am-2:00pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.30 with the potential of increasing to $17.55 after 90 days.
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
- Loading & delivering turkeys in a cautious manner.
- Following all biosecurity practices and SOPs as they relate to the position.
- Completing all required paperwork neatly and completely.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to be on feet for prolonged period of time
