Job Description

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift full time Courier Driver to join our team in Oakwood.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.55 with the potential of increasing to $18.80 after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
Job functions include:
- Driving a scheduled pickup and delivery route across various Cooper Farms locations
- Loading and unloading Cooper Farms vehicles at the proper destinations
- Following all state and local traffic laws as well as Cooper Farms driving guidelines
- Conducting regular vehicle inspection checks and report any vehicle maintenance issues in a timely manner
- Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record compliant with Cooper Farms Fleet Safety Manual
- Must have 5 or more years of driving experience and be able to safely drive in adverse weather conditions
- Must be able to routinely lift, push, pull, or carry up to 40 pounds and move loads up to 150 pounds, as needed, with moving carts.
- Must be able to routinely walk up and down steps and pathways affected by weather conditions
