Job Description

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Hatch Transfer Team Member for our Hatchery 1 location in Oakwood.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm, with a rotating weekend from 1:30pm-7:30pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.30 with the potential of increasing to $17.55 after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
- Setting and Transferring Eggs
- Washing Hatchers, Tubs and Dividers
- Assisting in loading Poult Trucks
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to lift 50-70 pounds over your head repeatedly
- Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
