Job Description

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1st shift Utility Crew Technician to join our team in Oakwood.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday approximately 7:00am-4:00pm, with occasional weekend work.
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $18.85 with the potential of increasing to $20.80 after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
- Hauling manure and turkeys when needed
- Assisting the Clean Out Crew when needed
- Assisting in mowing, chopping, and plowing snow as needed
- Power washing trucks, trailers, and other equipment
- Must be 18 years of age and maintain a clean driving record
- Must obtain a medical certificate
- Must have general knowledge of machinery and maintenance skills
- Must be able to maneuver large vehicles/equipment
