Job Description

Our St. Henry Processing plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Assembly team member to join our team in St. Henry.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE:$18.00 with the potential of increasing to $18.75 after 90 days.
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
- Inspecting parts and assembling machines in the fabrication department.
- Monitoring product and equipment during operation and reporting any changes.
- Insuring accurate ingredient content of every batch and packaging product according to customer speculations.
- Operating a walkie and learn the M-Tech System.
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to tolerate a climate controlled environment
