Job Description

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 3rd shift Turkey Loader to join our team in Fort Recovery.
SHIFT HOURS: Sunday through Thursday 6:00pm-4:00am
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $18.80 with the potential of increasing to $19.15 after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
- Handling animals with proper care when moving/loading and follow animal handling guidelines.
- Following all biosecurity practices and SOPs as they relate to the position.
- Ensuring all equipment and boots are disinfected after every flock.
- Being responsible for leaving the barn in the same condition it was prior to arrival.
- Must be 18 years of age with valid driver's license.
- Must be able to work alongside a team and be timely and a self-starter.
- Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail.
