Job Description
Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. Our St. Henry Harvesting plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a Yield Auditor to join our team in St. Henry.
The primary goal of this position to collect and distribute yields data through various audits and support the Yields Coordinator.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 6:00am-2:30pm
STARTING RATE: From $19.50/hr
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
Job Functions:
- Perform various audits as outlined by the Process Improvement Coordinator or Engineering Supervisor
- Enter data into Microsoft Excel
- Perform time studies as outlined by the Process Improvement Coordinator or Engineering Supervisor
- Assist in breed trials
- Support the Yields Coordinator in daily duties and serve as back up to them. Be able to write SOPs in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power Point
- Maintain excellent attendance and report to work on time
- Work independently and build trust with managers and supervisors
- Remain detail oriented to anticipate process issues and identify yield and staffing opportunities
- Actively maintain high personal sanitary measures by following the established guidelines
- Complete annual trainings as needed, such as SSOP, GMP, HACCP, Animal Welfare, Food Security, and Allergen
- High school diploma
- Computer experience
- Organizational skills
- Testing and evaluation skills
- Math and statistical knowledge
- Good human relation skills
