Job Description

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a part time Grow Out Attendant to join our team in Continental.
SHIFT HOURS: Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-3:00pm and 2-3 days during the week from 4:00pm-8:00pm
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $16.80 with the potential of increasing to $17.05 after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
- Keeping farm clean, maintaining laundry and supply inventory
- Ensuring feed and water availability to birds
- Monitoring birds for signs of distress or disease
- Must be 16 years of age
- Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
