Job Description

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a part time 1st shift Stud Farm Attendant to join our Pine View Farm team in Paulding.
SHIFT HOURS: 6 day work schedule, approximately 6:00am-11:00am
STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.05 with the potential of increasing to $18.30 after 90 days
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:
- Administering medicines/vitamins as directed from manager
- Assisting with blood test and vaccinations as needed
- Keeping building exterior/grounds clean
- Maintaining acceptable litter quality
- Maintaining supply inventory and keeping accurate records for barn and flock
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
