Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Fleet Maintenance Technician to join our team in Oakwood.

$$ 1,000 SIGN-ON BONUS $$

(Sign-On Bonus to be paid as $250 at thirty days, $250 at sixty days and $500 at six months. Rehires qualify a year after termination.)

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 4:00pm-1:00am

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $22.00-$28.00 with a potential increase at 90days

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job functions include:

  • Keeping all machinery, trucks, and equipment serviced and in proper working condition
  • Diagnosing/ troubleshooting to identify issues and propose solutions on vehicles and equipment
  • Filling out required paperwork and keeping records up to date.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Must be able to obtain a medical certificate
  • Ability to perform assignments with minimal oversight
  • Must have a solid understanding of diesel/gasoline engines, automotive and ag-related equipment, and hydraulics
  • Must have the ability to diagnose 12- and 24-volt automotive electrical systems
  • Previous welding/fabrication experience is preferred
  • ASE Certification is recommended, but not required
