Job Description

Our Fort Recovery Feed & Animal Division in Mercer and Darke counties, in Ohio, produces and delivers feed while providing support to our contract farmers raising animals for production. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 3rd shift Turkey Loading Foreman to join our team in Fort Recovery.

SHIFT HOURS: Sunday through Thursday 7:00pm-5:00am

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $20.45-$23.95 with a potential increase after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:

  • Responsible for overseeing daily tasks and ensuring they are accomplished by the team in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for proper hook-up and operation of equipment as well as leaving the barn in the same condition as it was prior to arrival.
  • Handle animals with proper care when moving/loading and follow all animal handling guidelines.
  • Follow all biosecurity practices and SOPs.
Requirements
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to lead and work alongside a team.
  • Must have the ability to pay close attention to detail.
