Job Description

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for over 85 years. Our St. Henry Harvesting plant in Mercer County, Ohio, prepares the turkeys for further processing and distribution. Cooper Farms is currently seeking an Accounting Scanner to join our team in St. Henry.

The primary goal of this position is to work with the Accounting Department preparing and scanning documents into the Alchemy system.

SHIFT HOURS: Flexible 1st shift hours (10-20/wk)

STARTING HOURLY RATE:From$14.50/hr

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job Functions:

  • Prepare and scan accounting documents into the Alchemy system
  • Mail checks out weekly
  • Cross train in payroll and receiving
  • Provide assistance as needed to entire accounting department
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products as well as the ability to use all other office equipment. Prior office experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to keep information confidential while obtaining supreme accuracy
