Job Description
Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for more than 85 years. We have divisions in Mercer, Van Wert and Paulding Counties in Ohio and are looking for a Safety Intern to join our team for the Summer of 2026.
LOCATION: St. Henry, OH
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday
STARTING RATE: From $17.50
ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
Job Functions:
- Implement confined space procedure and review of current confined space procedures
- Conduct audits, inspections and help write safety procedures
- Exposure to many areas of the plant
- Present findings/solutions to our leadership team at the end of the summer
- Pursuing a Bachelor's from an accredited college/university.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
- Must be detail oriented and able to work cooperatively with others
