Job Description

Cooper Farms is a family-owned farm and food company based in Northwest Ohio for 85 years. A commitment to teamwork and quality has made us one of the top turkey, hog and egg companies in the U.S. and awarded the company and its team an excellent reputation. We have divisions in Mercer, Van Wert and Paulding Counties in Ohio and are looking for a Swine Production Intern to join our team for the Summer of 2026.

Location: Fort Recovery, OH

Job Functions:

  • Assist Hog Service Reps with various projects
  • Gain experience in biosecurity, animal husbandry, water sanitation and more
  • Present findings/solutions to our leadership team at the end of the summer
Requirements
  • Pursuing a degree in Animal Science or similar major from an accredited college/university.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work cooperatively with others
