Job Description

Our Oakwood Division in Paulding County, Ohio, breeds hogs and turkeys while providing the best care to our animals in a small team setting. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Egg Gatherer to join our team in Cloverdale.

SHIFT HOURS: Typically a 6-day work schedule, approximately 12:00pm-9:00pm.

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.40 with the potential of increasing to $17.65 after 90 days

PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training for this position will take place in Oakwood. Job functions include:

  • Gathering all eggs as directed and maintain barns
  • Caring for birds per veterinary and manager guidance and maintain records
  • General farm chores, including but not limited to: laundry, taking out trash, checking/cleaning waters and feeders, etc.
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time
