Our Fort Recovery Egg Division in Mercer County, Ohio, provides quality table and liquid eggs to consumers near and far. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Production Supervisor at our Central Egg Processing location in Coldwater.

The primary goal of the Production Supervisor is to oversee 2nd shift operations within the Central Egg Processing (CEP) facility. This position will bring leadership to our team members and will instill accountability and commitment to meeting the business goals established. This position will manage in a manner that supports the Cooper Values and commitment to welfare, safety and morale of all team members.

SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 1:30pm-11:30pm

PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job Functions:

  • Supervise the 2nd shift operations within the CEP facility
  • Provide proper onboarding and training to new employees
  • Provide leadership that develops and promotes a safe work environment for all team members
  • Effectively communicate with other facility managers/supervisors and all other Cooper Farms support departments
  • Coordinate shift activities through effective planning with facility managers to ensure production objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Implement cost effective systems of control over operations expenses, labor costs and other related expenses
  • Establish and monitor plant performance for production and quality standards
  • Provide leadership and training to accomplish company goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Cooper Farms or similar operation in various fields including sanitation, production, sales, logistics, etc.
  • Associate Degree in a business-related field is preferred but will be waived for appropriate business experience
  • Good communicator and strong leader
  • Sound reasoning skills and problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent math skills
